Symbols and Special Features
A 243 Ways to Win game, Electric Sam is played across 5 reels, which are set against a wooded backdrop that’s lit up by fairy lights. The symbols of this winning pokies machine include a mix of modern and classic. Cherries, lemons, melons, plums and 7s make up the old-school symbols, although some modernity has been given to them with neon styling. Along for the ride are three troll symbols – Electric Sam himself, wife Sandra, and daughter Maggie. Sam is the highest paying symbol – land 5 of him and you’ll earn 300 times your original bet.
Then there is the Bell symbol, which is important because it triggers the fabulous Free Spins bonus round. Land 3 Bells and you’ll win 5 Free Spins, land 4 and you’ll get 10, land 5 and you’ll get a whopping 15. In addition, there are extra opportunities to win during this feature. If 3 or more Sam symbols make their appearance, Sam will literally go electric and transform 1 random symbol into a Sticky Wild. If you land 3 or more Sandra symbols, you will score a Multiplier increase, starting at 1x and going up to 10x. Hit 3 Maggie symbols and you’ll activate a series of collapsing symbols – in other words, they get zapped and you’re given a second payout possibility.
The game also gives you the chance to automatically raise your betting levels, adjusting for whether you won or lost on the preceding spins. There are 3 betting strategies to choose from, depending on how lucky you feel.
