Above all else, online casinos give New Zealanders the opportunity to win real money every time they log on. The problem most people face, is in making a deposit. If in the past you didn’t own a credit card, making a deposit could have been an issue. The good news is that nowadays, there are safe, fast and secure payment alternatives such as PayPal!
Instant, Easy Online PayPal Payments
If you want to play pokies online for real money, at some point you are going to have to make a casino deposit. Before the introduction of PayPal web-wallet payments, most players had to rely on credit card deposits or direct debit payments.
While credit cards are certainly convenient, not everyone has a credit card. Local bank transfers also work but take up to three days to process the transaction. When you run out of funds, there is nothing worse than having to wait for your funds to reflect in your casino account. By contrast, PayPal casino payments are instant, safe and accepted at thousands of casinos in New Zealand and around the world.
How to Get Started with PayPal
If you are keen to get started using PayPal, the first step is to create a free online web-wallet account. Registration starts on the operator site, where the sign-up button sits in the top corner. All you need to get started is a valid email address which will act as your “account number.”
When you make or receive payments, your email address will be the unique identifier that will enable the payment to be processed into your account. Once you have signed up for a free account, the next step is funding your web-wallet account.
Money reaches the balance by more than one route. For most players, the easiest way is to link your local New Zealand bank account directly to your web-wallet account and transfer funds when you need them. You can also top up your account with a credit card if need be.
The Benefits of Using PayPal
Having a web-wallet account means that you can safely and securely transact online at thousands of online merchants around the globe. A web-wallet account also gives you the freedom to make multiple online casino payments at multiple casinos without worrying about divulging your bank details.
You can use one account to make purchases online, fund your casino account or instantly send money to friends or family in New Zealand, or overseas. When it comes to funding your web-wallet account, PayPal uses state of the art encryption technology.
Making a Casino Deposit with PayPal
Once you have funds in your PayPal web-wallet account, you have everything you need to make an online casino payment.
When you want to make a deposit, you can log into your favourite New Zealand online casino and head directly to the cashier section. In the banking section, click on deposit options. Here you will see an option to select PayPal payments. Once you click on this option a window will pop up prompting you to log into your web-wallet account with your secure login details. The payment window will have all the information to make an instant payment into your online casino account. All you have to do is decide how much you want to deposit and click on the pay button. The transaction will be processed immediately, which means you can get started playing pokies and casino games for real money straight away.
Cashing Out with PayPal
As well as being able to make instant online casino deposits, you can use PayPal to cash out your winnings at a casino that offers this option.
This process is just as easy as making a deposit. In the banking section, look for withdraw options, again select PayPal payments, fill in you details and then complete the transaction. The funds will then be transferred into your web-wallet account. From there, you can use your casino winnings to make more casino deposits, shop online or transfer your winnings back into your personal bank account for use at home in New Zealand.
PayPal provides an excellent deposit and withdrawal option for use at top New Zealand casinos, and is trustworthy, safe and secure, making it the ideal choice for real money gaming enthusiasts!
